DESCRIPTION

PTA2043-2015DPB103 is a low-profile slide potentiometer from Bourns' PTA Series designed for professional audio and consumer electronics applications. This single-gang unit features a 20 mm travel distance with a linear taper, carbon element, and metal housing construction, offering a 10 kO resistance value with ±20% tolerance. The potentiometer operates over a temperature range of -10°C to +50°C with a maximum operating voltage of 150 V DC (audio taper), a power rating of 0.05 W, and an insulation resistance of minimum 100 megohms at 250 V DC. It delivers excellent performance with a sliding noise specification of 100 mV maximum, tracking error of 3 dB at -40 to 0 dB, and a sliding life of 15,000 cycles. The device is ideal for audio/TV sets, car radios, amplifiers, mixers, synthesizers, and PC applications where compact size and reliable volume control are essential.
