DESCRIPTION

The PTVS10-470C-TH is a high-current, bidirectional TVS diode engineered for overvoltage protection in AC line and high power DC bus clamping applications. This device has a repetitive standoff voltage of 470 V and a breakdown voltage ranging from 470 V to 530 V. It provides robust protection by clamping transient voltages to a maximum of 630 V when subjected to a 10 kA peak pulse current. With its high surge capability, low clamping voltage, and a typical capacitance of 1.0 nF, it is ideal for safeguarding sensitive electronics from powerful electrical transients.
