DESCRIPTION

PWR163S-25-15R0J is a DPAK-style surface-mount power resistor from the PWR163 Series, designed for high-power applications requiring low inductance and excellent thermal performance. The resistor features a 1 O resistance value with ±5% tolerance, 25 W power rating at 25°C case temperature, and a maximum inductance of 0.1 µH, making it ideal for high-frequency applications such as amplifiers and wireless base stations. It operates across a temperature range of -55°C to 155°C with a thermal resistance of 5.2°C/W and exhibits excellent pulse characteristics for use in current limiting and capacitor discharge circuits. The resistor is electrically isolated from the backplate, RoHS compliant, and AEC-Q200 qualified, making it suitable for power supplies, motor drives, test and measurement equipment, and rectifier applications.
