DESCRIPTION

PWR163S-25-R150FE is a 25 W DPAK-style surface mount power resistor designed for high-frequency applications such as amplifiers and wireless base stations. The device features very low inductance (0.1 µH maximum) and excellent pulse characteristics, making it ideal for current limiting and capacitor discharge circuits. It operates over a temperature range of -55°C to 155°C with a thermal resistance of 5.2°C/W and supports operating voltages up to 250 V. The resistor is electrically isolated from the backplate, RoHS compliant, and AEC-Q200 qualified, ensuring reliability in demanding applications. Its compact size, smaller than a standard D²PAK package, combined with compatibility with lead-free solder reflow temperatures, makes it suitable for modern surface mount assembly processes.
