DESCRIPTION

PWR4318WR470JE is a 2.0 W surface mount wirewound resistor from Bourns designed for high-power applications requiring excellent surge capabilities and pulse power characteristics. This resistor features a resistance range of 0.005 O to 12 kO with 5% tolerance (J grade), large terminals and optimized body shape for superior power dissipation, and operates over a temperature range of -55°C to 155°C. The device exhibits low temperature coefficient characteristics (±20 PPM/°C for resistances >10 O) and is RoHS compliant with excellent surge performance per IEC 61000-4-5 standards. It is widely used in telecommunications, audio equipment, base stations, and industrial applications where inrush currents and surge voltages are present.
