DESCRIPTION

SMBJ130A is a unidirectional transient voltage suppressor diode designed for surge and ESD protection in portable communications, computing, and video equipment. It features a working peak reverse voltage of 180 V, a breakdown voltage of 351 V, and a maximum clamping voltage of 357 V at 10 A pulse current. The device is housed in a compact DO-214AA (SMB) surface mount package and offers fast response times of less than 1.0 picosecond. With 600 watts peak power dissipation capability and RoHS compliance, the SMBJ130A is ideal for protecting sensitive circuits against transient overvoltage events in accordance with IEC 61000-4-2 ESD, IEC 61000-4-4 EFT, and IEC 61000-4-5 Surge standards.
