DESCRIPTION

SMBJ150CA is a bidirectional transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode designed for surge and ESD protection in electronic circuits. It features a breakdown voltage range of 253 V to 280 V, a working peak reverse voltage of 200 V, and a clamping voltage of 420 V at peak pulse current. The device offers 600 W peak pulse power dissipation and is housed in a compact surface mount DO-214AA (SMB) package. With fast response times of less than 5.0 picoseconds for bidirectional devices, it provides effective protection against IEC 61000-4-2 ESD, IEC 61000-4-4 EFT, and IEC 61000-4-5 surge events. This RoHS compliant component is ideal for protecting portable communications, computing, and video equipment from transient voltage events.
