DESCRIPTION

SMCJ75CA is a bidirectional transient voltage suppressor diode designed for surge and ESD protection in portable communications, computing, and video equipment. The device features a working peak reverse voltage of 92.1 V, breakdown voltage of 83.3 V, and a peak pulse power dissipation of 1500 watts at 1 ms pulse width. It is housed in a compact surface-mount SMC (DO-214AB) package and operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +150°C. The SMCJ75CA provides fast response times and is RoHS compliant, making it ideal for protecting sensitive electronic circuits against transient overvoltage events including IEC 61000-4-2 ESD (Level 4), IEC 61000-4-4 EFT, and IEC 61000-4-5 surge conditions.
