DESCRIPTION

SRP6540-4R7M is a shielded power inductor from Bourns' SRP6540 series designed for DC/DC converters and power supply applications. The device features a 4.7 µH inductance (±20%) with a maximum DC resistance of 33.5 mO, an RMS current rating of 6 A, and a saturation current of 6.5 A. It incorporates an iron powder core with enameled copper wire and Cu/Ni/Sn terminals, operating reliably across a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C with a typical temperature rise of 40°C at rated current. The shielded construction and high saturation current make it ideal for portable communications equipment, laptop computers, camcorders, HDTV systems, and video game consoles, where compact size and reliable power delivery are essential.
