DESCRIPTION
SRU1028-2R2Y is a shielded SMD power inductor from Bourns' SRU1028 series, featuring a 2.2 µH inductance at 100 kHz with ±30% tolerance. The inductor is designed with a ferrite DR and RI core, enameled copper wire, and Ag/Ni/Sn terminals, delivering a maximum RMS current of 5.3 A and a saturation current of 4.8 A typical. With a unit height of 2.8 mm, self-resonant frequency of 65 MHz, and DC resistance of 11 mO, it provides compact integration for space-constrained applications. The device operates over a storage temperature range of -40°C to +125°C and exhibits a maximum temperature rise of 40°C at rated current. It is ideal for input/output filtering in DC/DC converters and power supplies for portable communication equipment, camcorders, and LCD TVs, offering RoHS compliance and reliable performance in demanding power management circuits.
