DESCRIPTION

The SRU5028-470Y is a shielded surface-mount power inductor from Bourns' SRU5028 series designed for high-current DC/DC converter and power supply applications. It features an inductance of 47.0 µH at 100 kHz with ±30% tolerance, a DC resistance of 13 mO, and a maximum RMS current rating of 285 A, making it suitable for demanding power conversion circuits. The inductor operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +125°C and has a unit height of 2.8 mm, enabling compact board layouts in portable communication equipment, camcorders, and LCD TV power supplies. Its low saturation current of 0.70 A typical and K-factor of 69 provide excellent core performance characteristics for input/output filtering in modern power management systems.
