DESCRIPTION
The TISP4265H3BJR-S is a bidirectional thyristor overvoltage protector designed to safeguard central office, access, and customer premise equipment from transient overvoltages. It features a repetitive peak off-state voltage (VDRM) of 200 V and a breakover voltage (V(BO)) of 265 V. The device has a high holding current of 150 mA to prevent DC latch-up and a typical off-state capacitance of 55 pF at -2 V. Housed in a surface-mount SMB (DO-214AA) package, this protector is rated for various international surge waveforms, including a 500 A peak pulse current for a 2/10 µs waveshape. It is ideal for 2-wire telecommunication equipment protection, such as between the Ring and Tip wires for telephones and modems.
