DESCRIPTION

R6007 is a halogen-free thermal transfer ribbon from Brady's R6000 Series, designed for high-performance printing on glossy or very smooth label stocks. The ribbon features a polyester base film with a thickness of 4.8 microns and black ink formulation that delivers excellent solvent and scratch resistance along with high heat resistance when used with appropriate Brady label materials. It meets halogen-free standards including IEC 61249-2-21, JPCA-ES-01-1999, and IPC-4101B, with maximum halogen content of 900 PPM Cl, 900 PPM Br, and 1500 PPM total halogens. The ribbon operates reliably in usage conditions of 5°C to 35°C at 20–85% relative humidity, with an ink softening temperature of 166°–168°C. R6007 is UL Recognized and CSA Accepted on various Brady labelstocks, making it suitable for applications requiring regulatory compliance and durable, high-quality thermal transfer printing.
