The 6GM5E-78 is a sealed bat-style toggle switch from Carling Technologies' G-Series, designed for general-purpose industrial and commercial applications. It features a sealed actuator (78 designation) with a toggle length of 0.687 inches and bushing length of 0.465 inches, rated for 10A at 250VAC or 15A at 125VAC with 3/4 HP at 125-250VAC. The switch employs an On-Off-On momentary circuit configuration and is available with solder lug termination. It meets UL, CSA, and VDE approvals, with dielectric strength rated at 1000V (UL/CSA) and 4000V (VDE) for live to dead metal parts, and maintains 50,000 electrical cycles and 100,000 mechanical cycles. Operating temperature range is 0°C to 85°C, making it suitable for marine, food service, generator control, industrial control, and office automation applications.
