DESCRIPTION

The TIGA5B-6S-BL-MBL/MATTE is an illuminated rocker switch from the Tippette Series featuring a curved smooth-face matte black actuator with a marine-style black nylon snap-in bracket. This single-pole switch in a double-pole base is rated for 10A at 250VAC, 15A at 125VAC, 3/4 HP at 125–250VAC, and 15A at 15–28VDC, with an incandescent lamp rated for 10,000 hours and a neon lamp rated for 25,000 hours. The switch is constructed with phenolic (150°C) and nylon 66 (105°C) materials and is designed for panel mounting with a thickness range of 0.040 to 0.250 inches, featuring a minimum mechanical endurance of 100,000 cycles. The marine-style bracket includes a neoprene seal and dummy rivets at open holes for enhanced environmental protection, making it suitable for general-purpose applications, commercial food equipment, and recreational vehicles where sealed operation and illumination are required.
