DESCRIPTION

VAD1B60B-ARC00-000 is a V-Series Contura II sealed snap-in rocker switch engineered for demanding marine and industrial environments. The switch features IP66/68 sealing certification, providing complete protection against dust and powerful jets of water, and meets UL1500/ISO8846 ignition protection requirements for marine products. It operates reliably across a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C and incorporates silver and gold contacts rated for MFG Class III corrosion resistance with 3-year accelerated exposure per ASTM B-827 and B-845. The switch demonstrates exceptional durability through rigorous testing including vibration resistance (per Mil-Std 202F Method 204D at 0.06 DA or 10G's, 10-500 Hz), thermal shock (-55°C to +85°C per Mil-Std 202F Method 107F), salt spray (96 hours per Mil-Std 202F Method 101D), and moisture resistance testing. These characteristics make it ideal for marine vessels, offshore equipment, and other applications requiring sealed, corrosion-resistant switching in extreme conditions.
