DESCRIPTION

The 5100526 is a 12/24 VDC excitation output module designed for the EDM 35 modular digital panel meter system manufactured by Carlo Gavazzi. This output module provides selectable DC voltage excitation to power external sensors and transducers, with jumper-configurable output voltage of either 12 VDC or 24 VDC, each with ±20% tolerance. The module supplies a maximum output current of 35 mA at 12 VDC or 20 mA at 24 VDC, making it suitable for powering low-power sensor excitation circuits. The excitation output is powered by the main EDM 35 unit and includes electromagnetic compatibility features per IEC 60801-4 and IEC 60801-5. This module is commonly used in measurement systems requiring external sensor excitation, such as resistance temperature detectors (RTD), thermocouples, and other transducers that require dedicated power supply.
