DESCRIPTION

The RSE2203-B is a compact AC semiconductor motor controller designed for soft starting and stopping of 3-phase squirrel cage motors. It operates at a rated voltage of 127/220 VACrms (50/60 Hz) with a rated operational current of 3 A, featuring potential-free control input and integral bypassing of semiconductors. The controller provides adjustable ramp-up time (0.5 to 6.5 s), ramp-down time (0.5 to 8.0 s), and initial torque (0 to 85%), all independently controlled via built-in potentiometers. It includes LED indicators for supply and operation status, transient overvoltage protection (Overvoltage category III per IEC 60664), and operates over an ambient temperature range of -20°C to +50°C. The RSE2203-B is ideal for applications requiring controlled motor acceleration and deceleration, such as changing from direct-on-line start to soft-start operation, reducing mechanical stress and extending motor lifespan.
