DESCRIPTION

The UA18CAD22PPTI is a self-contained, multi-function diffuse ultrasonic sensor designed for distance measurement. It operates on a 15 to 30 VDC supply and provides a sensing distance from 200 mm to 2200 mm with a repeatability of 0.5%. The sensor features two configurable PNP switching outputs that can be set for normal switching or adjustable hysteresis via a simple push-button teach-in function. Housed in a robust, cylindrical M18 PBT enclosure with an IP67 protection rating, it includes protection against short-circuits, reverse polarity, and overvoltage. Its microprocessor-controlled and digitally filtered electronics make it ideal for precise level control in various vessels and for reliable object detection in industrial environments.
