DESCRIPTION

UCC is an ultrasonic converter designed to convert RS232 signals to RS485 and vice versa for use with ultrasonic sensors. It operates on a 24 VDC ± 20% power supply with a current consumption of approximately 10 mA and supports transmission distances up to 1000 m. The converter features a 9-pole D-Sub connector for RS232 input and screw terminals for RS485 output and power supply, housed in a compact plastic enclosure measuring 38.5 x 80.5 mm. With an operating temperature range of 0°C to +50°C and no galvanic isolation, this converter is ideal for industrial applications requiring reliable communication between ultrasonic sensors and RS232-based systems.
