DESCRIPTION

The VPA2MNA is an optical level probe designed for liquid detection using the refraction principle of modulated infrared light. It is constructed with a durable stainless steel housing and a glass tip, making it suitable for direct mounting through a tank wall via its G 3/8" thread. The self-contained unit features a built-in amplifier with an NPN open-collector output (Make & Break switching) and operates on a 10 to 40 VDC supply. Protected against reverse polarity and short circuits, this sensor is reliable for use in various industrial environments, including monitoring oil, waste water, and other aqueous solutions.
