DESCRIPTION

VR2A is a capacitive level sensor designed for detecting levels of solids, fluids, and granulated substances in industrial applications. It features a nominal sensing distance of 8 mm and is constructed from thermoplastic polyester with a 1 1/2" pipe thread connection, making it suitable for standard industrial installations. The sensor operates at 20-30 VDC with a 20 Hz operating frequency and maintains an IP 67 degree of protection for reliable performance in harsh environments. It consumes between 1.5 to 5.0 mA when active and operates reliably across a temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. The VR2A is commonly used in agriculture environments such as silos for level detection and is compatible with amplifiers SV 150/250 or SV 160/260, providing a complete sensing solution for bulk material monitoring.
