DESCRIPTION

DMT4S1K-F is a radial-leaded polyester film/foil capacitor from the Type DMT series, designed for general purpose applications requiring high peak currents and high insulation resistance. This noninductively wound capacitor features a compact size with moisture-resistive epoxy coating and tinned copper-clad steel leads. It offers a capacitance tolerance of ±10% (K) standard with ±5% (J) optional, operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C, and provides an insulation resistance of 30,000 MO × µF with 100,000 MO minimum. The low dissipation factor of 1% maximum at 25°C and 1kHz makes it ideal for applications demanding reliable performance and high peak current handling capability.
