DESCRIPTION
MXT225M305G24 is a 2.2 µF metallized polypropylene film capacitor rated for 305 Vac (630 Vdc) designed for X2 class "across the line" and EMI/RFI suppression applications in harsh environments. The capacitor features a self-healing property with a flame-retardant plastic case and epoxy resin encapsulation meeting UL 94V-0 requirements, ensuring high reliability under demanding conditions. It operates across a temperature range of -40°C to +110°C with high capacitance stability and demonstrates excellent performance under thermal humidity bias testing (1,000 hours at 85°C, 85% RH). The device has a dissipation factor of 0.001 at 1 kHz and a dv/dt rating of 200 V/µs, with physical dimensions of 26 mm length, 29.5 mm height, and 14.5 mm thickness.
