DESCRIPTION
E1016-1725 is a Cam-Lok J-Series female insulated receptacle designed for reliable single pole power connectivity in industrial applications. This double set screw receptacle features a double cam principle that provides a positive, vibration-proof connection capable of withstanding a pulling force of 1,000 lbs, with contacts machined from high conductivity brass for smooth sliding fit and easy locking action. The watertight elastomeric TPE body is color-coded for easy phase identification, with recessed contacts protected by an insulating jacket that extends beyond contact ends for safety. Rated for 600V AC/DC and 400A continuous operation with an operating ambient temperature range of -40°C to 105°C, this receptacle is UL1691 and CSA C22.2 No.1691-12 listed with NEMA 3R rating. Common applications include motors, generators, indoor and outdoor lighting distribution panels, and stand-by power systems.
