DESCRIPTION

E1016-80 is a Cam-Lok J-Series crimp vulcanized female plug designed for reliable single pole connectivity in industrial power applications. This black-colored connector is rated for 600V AC/DC with up to 315A continuous current and accommodates cable sizes 3/0-4/0. It features watertight elastomeric insulators molded from colorfast material for easy phase identification, high conductivity brass contacts machined for smooth sliding fit and easy locking action, and recessed contacts protected by an insulating jacket extending beyond contact ends for safety. The double cam principle provides a positive, vibration-proof connection that is self-compensating for wear, with locked contacts capable of withstanding a pulling force of 1,000 lbs. Common applications include motors, generators, indoor and outdoor lighting distribution panels, and stand-by power systems.
