DESCRIPTION

RS16 is an 8-pin square-base relay socket assembly designed for 2PDT relay applications in modular track systems. It features a 10 amps, 250 volts rating with No. 6-32 screw terminals spaced 7/16" center-to-center, accommodating wire up to No. 12 AWG (lugs recommended for wire larger than No. 16 AWG). The socket utilizes TR3 track and can accommodate up to 22 socket assemblies in a 48" length, with a unitized thermoplastic construction featuring a closed-back design that eliminates panel insulation and resists breakage. The assembly includes permanent-numbered terminals for easy identification, nickel-plated screw-type terminals on a break-resistant barrier-type terminal block, and phosphor bronze contacts for superior pin contact and retention. RS16 is ideal for industrial control panels, relay logic systems, and applications requiring reliable, space-efficient relay mounting with easy insertion and removal capabilities.
