DESCRIPTION

The MDS-040APS15BA is a 40W medical AC-DC open-frame embedded power supply designed to convert a universal AC input ranging from 90-264 Vac to a single 15Vdc output. It delivers an output current of 2.67A with a typical efficiency of 87.2% and features a low touch current of less than 0.1mA under normal conditions. This unit provides 2 x MOPP (Means of Patient Protection) isolation, includes comprehensive protections against over-voltage, overload, and short circuits, and complies with IEC 60601-1-2 4th Edition EMC standards. With a high MTBF of 3 million hours and a compact 2 x 3 inch footprint, it is a reliable power solution for medical, scientific, and industrial equipment.
