DESCRIPTION

09069 is an elastic adjustable wristband with a 12-foot black cord designed for electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection and grounding. The band features a knit elastic material measuring 0.875 inches (22mm) wide and 0.10 inches (2.5mm) thick, composed of 50 strands of textured polyester, 36 strands of lycra spandex, and 14 strands of silver-plated polypropylene yarn for conductivity and antimicrobial properties. The wristband accommodates circumferences from 2.5 inches (63.5mm) to 13 inches (330mm), with a blue ABS plastic insulating cap, 300 series stainless steel backplate (0.016 inches thick), and a patented floating cam lock mechanism that maintains electrical continuity while allowing easy adjustment. The 4mm snap stud machined from 300 series stainless steel provides a breakaway force of 1–5 lbs perpendicular force, meeting ESD-S1 paragraph 4.1.6 requirements. This wristband is UL-listed (90P1) and meets ANSI/ESD S20.20 standards, making it suitable for personnel grounding in ESD-sensitive environments such as electronics manufacturing, assembly, and repair operations.
