DESCRIPTION
The 515-1302-0500F is a vertical panel mount OPTOPIPE® light pipe featuring a convex lens design and 3mm diameter output. This precision-molded component is manufactured from RoHS compliant UL94-V0 water clear polycarbonate with an oxygen index of 35%, providing durability and optical clarity. The light pipe has a length (Dim "A") of 0.500 inches [12.70 mm], a mounting hole size of 0.115 inches +0.003, -0.002 inches, and operates reliably across a temperature range of -30°C to +100°C. The convex lens style provides optimal viewing angles and is designed to work seamlessly with Dialight surface mount LEDs (PLCC-2 and PLCC-4 configurations). This light pipe is ideal for front panel LED indication in applications where the PCB is parallel to the front panel, offering a cost-effective solution for bringing illuminated status indication to product interfaces.
