DESCRIPTION

515-1306-0500F is a press-fit 3mm reverse mount light pipe designed for rear panel mounting with a dimension A of 0.500 inches (12.7mm). The light pipe features a reference diameter of 0.125 inches (3.2mm) with four ribs spaced 90 degrees apart, an outer diameter of 0.150 inches (3.8mm), and a mounting hole diameter of 0.121 inches (+0.003/-0.002 inches). It is available with polished surface and special finish options, as well as diffused surface with Charmille #24 finish for different optical requirements. The product is designed for panel thicknesses ranging from 0.040 to 0.093 inches, and can be installed by hand or with a plastic tubular insertion tool, with optional optical adhesive for secure panel attachment. This light pipe is commonly used in instrumentation panels, indicator applications, and backlighting systems where precise optical transmission and compact reverse mounting are required.
