DESCRIPTION

The 515-1353-0500F is a vertical panel-mount OPTOPIPE® light pipe designed to channel light from a PCB-mounted LED to a front panel. This model features a domed lens with a diffused surface and has a length (Dim "A") of 0.500 inches (12.70 mm). It is precision molded from RoHS compliant, UL94-V0 rated water-clear polycarbonate. The light pipe secures to the front panel with a simple press-fit into a 0.156-inch mounting hole. This component is an ideal, cost-effective solution for providing status indication on products where the PCB runs parallel to the front panel, such as in industrial controls or communication equipment.
