R450060022B is a heavy-duty bearingless ring kit encoder designed for NEMA 4-1/2" C-face motors with a 56C bore configuration. It features a 60 PPR (pulses per revolution) incremental resolution with optional 120 PPR output via X2, supporting both single-channel unidirectional (A) and dual-channel quadrature (AB) output formats with 90° ± 45° electrical phasing. The encoder operates over an input voltage range of 4.5 to 16.5 VDC at 50 mA maximum for single-ended outputs, with a minimum frequency response of 10 kHz and comprehensive electrical protection against overvoltage and reverse voltage to 30 VDC. Mechanically, it features a thin 5/8" profile with cast aluminum housing, a maximum shaft speed of 5,000 RPM, and operates reliably across -40°C to +85°C, making it ideal for industrial motor control, precision positioning, and heavy-duty automation applications requiring dependable gear-tooth pickup design and field-replaceable readhead for easy maintenance.
