R4500602312 is a heavy-duty incremental encoder ring kit designed for NEMA 4-1/2" C-face motors, featuring a thin 5/8" profile that saves valuable space. The encoder provides 60 PPR (pulses per revolution) resolution with optional 120 PPR output, supporting single-channel unidirectional (A) or dual-channel quadrature (AB) output formats with 90° ± 45° electrical phasing. It operates over an input power range of 4.5 to 26 VDC at up to 75 mA maximum, with multiple output options including single-ended, open collector, and differential line driver configurations, all protected against overvoltage and reverse voltage to 30 VDC. The encoder features a cast aluminum housing with chromate finish, 1010 steel gear, and operates reliably at shaft speeds up to 5,000 RPM with a maximum operating temperature range of -40 to +85 °C.
