DESCRIPTION

The ST163D00 is a 1P2T (one pole, two throw) maintained toggle switch designed for industrial control applications. It features dual maintained positions and is rated for 15A at 277VAC, 2DA at 125VAC, and 2HP at 125/277VAC per ANSI/UL1054 and CAN/CSA C22.2 No.55 standards. The switch incorporates a nickel-plated brass actuator and bushing with an M12x1.0 threaded connection, phenolic UL94 V-D body, and silver alloy clad copper contacts for reliable electrical performance. Key electrical characteristics include an initial contact resistance of 10mO maximum, insulation resistance of 10MO minimum, and dielectric strength of 1,500VAC for 1 minute. With an operating life of 6,000 cycles and temperature range of 0°C to 85°C, this switch is well-suited for panel-mounted industrial control systems, machinery automation, and electrical distribution applications requiring robust switching performance.
