DESCRIPTION

The KLM-8 is a fast-acting supplemental fuse designed for 600Vac/dc applications with an 8-ampere rating. It features a 13/32" x 1-1/2" form factor with melamine tube construction and nickel-plated endcaps, providing reliable electrical protection. The fuse has an interrupting rating of 100kA at 600Vac and 50kA at 600Vdc, with opening times of 4 hours minimum at 110% of rated amperage and AC opening within 1 hour at 135% of rated amperage. It is color-coded black for 600Vac/dc identification and is UL Listed (Std. 248-14) and CSA Certified (C22.2 No. 248.14). The KLM-8 is ideal for DC control circuits and photovoltaic systems up to 600Vdc, offering superior protection in demanding electrical applications.
