DESCRIPTION

BK1/S505-4-R is a 5 mm × 20 mm ferrule time-delay ceramic tube fuse rated at 4 A and 250 V AC, designed to IEC 60127-2 standards for high breaking capacity primary circuit protection. The fuse features a nickel-plated brass end cap construction with halogen-free, RoHS-compliant, lead-free materials, ensuring environmental compliance and safety. Key electrical characteristics include a typical DC cold resistance of 0.0185 O, typical pre-arcing resistance of 38.45 O, and a typical voltage drop of 86.5 mV at rated current. The fuse operates over a temperature range of -55 °C to +125 °C with appropriate derating, and is recognized by multiple international agencies including cURus, VDE, SEMKO, CSA, IMQ, and BSI. It is commonly used in LED and general lighting, LED/LCD televisions, appliances, printers, test equipment, and power supplies where reliable overcurrent protection is essential.
