DESCRIPTION

The BK/MDA-6-R is a 1/4" x 1-1/4" ceramic tube time-delay fuse designed for circuit protection in electrical systems. It features a nickel-plated brass endcap construction and meets UL standard 248-14, providing reliable performance across a wide range of applications. The fuse is rated at 250V AC with an AC interrupting rating of 200 amps at 250V and 10,000 amps at 125V DC, delivering consistent protection with a typical melting current of 0.02120 A and a voltage drop of 587.73 mV. Optional axial leads are available for flexible installation configurations. This time-delay characteristic allows the fuse to withstand temporary inrush currents while protecting against sustained overcurrent conditions, making it ideal for industrial equipment, motor circuits, and power distribution systems where transient surges are common.
