DESCRIPTION

The MDA-6 is a 6-ampere, 1/2" × 1 1/4" time-delay ceramic tube fuse designed to protect appliances and consumer electronics from overcurrent conditions. As a time-delay fuse, it features a coiled wire or thick element wrapped in wire that allows brief current surges to pass without interruption, making it ideal for circuits with inrush currents such as motor startup. The fuse is available in multiple voltage ratings to match the application requirements, with voltage ratings that must equal or exceed the circuit voltage being protected. The MDA-6 is commonly used in household appliances, consumer electronics, and other low-voltage circuits where precise overcurrent protection and reliability are essential, offering accurate protection through its standardized 6-ampere current rating.
