DESCRIPTION

MDL-1-1/4-R is a time-delay glass tube fuse designed for circuit protection in electrical systems rated at 250 Vac. This fuse features a 1/4" x 1 1/4" (6.4 x 31.7 mm) physical size with nickel-plated brass endcaps and is constructed from glass tubing for reliable performance. The fuse has an AC interrupting rating of 100 amps at 250 Vac and 10,000 amps at 125 Vac, with a typical DC cold resistance of 0.205 O and a typical melting time of 86.2 seconds at rated current. It meets UL Listed standard 248-14 and is available with optional axial leads or board-washable sealing. This fuse is commonly used in industrial control circuits, power distribution systems, and equipment requiring time-delay protection to prevent nuisance trips from inrush currents.
