DESCRIPTION

The PTR016V1500-BK is a PolyTron™ radial leaded PTC device designed for overcurrent protection. It operates with a maximum voltage of 16Vdc and can withstand a maximum fault current of 100A. This device features a hold current of 15.00A and a trip current of 25.50A, with a maximum time-to-trip of 10.0 seconds at 75A. It has a low initial resistance between 0.002Ω and 0.005Ω and a typical power dissipation of 4.60W when tripped. As a halogen-free, lead-free, and RoHS compliant component, it is suitable for applications such as computers, peripherals, and telecommunications equipment.
