DESCRIPTION

177641MN is a 1 Pole Decimal Make-Before-Break thumbwheel switch from EECO's 1776 Series, offering 10 switching positions with binary or decimal output codes. The switch features a standard 0.500" width and is constructed with polycarbonate housing per Federal Spec LP-393A, gold over nickel plated copper alloy contacts, and a glass epoxy circuit disc. It delivers a minimum life of 1,000,000 detents at 10 mA and 5 VDC, with a tangential operating force of 6-18 Oz. for the 1776 Series. The switch supports a maximum switching load of 125 mA at 28 VDC or 115 VAC, with initial contact resistance of 100 mO maximum and insulation resistance of 1,000 MO minimum at 100 VDC. This lead-free, RoHS-compliant switch is ideal for front panel control applications, instrumentation, and industrial equipment requiring reliable decimal encoding with make-before-break switching characteristics.
