DESCRIPTION

CMH is a dual-output CoolMod module designed for the Advanced Energy CoolIX1000 fanless, intelligent 1000W modular power supply system. The module provides two independent regulated outputs: V1 at 5V with 6A maximum current (36W) and V2 at 24V with 3A maximum current (90W), both with adjustable set-point ranges of 3.0-6.0V and 3.0-30.0V respectively. The CMH operates within the compact 259.5mm × 164mm × 40.6mm (1U) CoolIX1000 chassis and features dual-output control with independent enable/inhibit and power-good signal monitoring via dedicated connectors. Key performance characteristics include line regulation of ±0.5%, load regulation of ±2%, ripple and noise of 2% peak-peak (20MHz bandwidth), and overvoltage protection with hiccup recovery (110-130% of maximum voltage). The module is ideal for applications requiring multiple isolated voltage rails in space-constrained, fanless environments such as scientific instruments, medical devices, and systems sensitive to vibration or acoustic noise.
