DESCRIPTION

08570 is an open-style power distribution block designed to manage complex power distribution requirements by splitting primary power circuits into secondary circuits or providing fixed-junction tap-off points. The block features a glass-filled polycarbonate insulating material with verified dielectric strength exceeding 2500V and UL94-V0 flammability rating, ensuring safe and durable operation. It accommodates both aluminum and copper conductors with wire ranges from 4-14 AWG to 1000-250 kcmil, supporting amperage ratings from 65A to 2260A based on NEC table 310.15(B)(16) 75°C ampacities. The connector material is highly conductive tin-plated copper for copper blocks and tin-plated aluminum for aluminum blocks, with direct panel mounting capability. Rated for 1000VAC/DC with a short-circuit current rating (SCCR) of 100kA when properly sized fuses are used, this block is ideal for automated manufacturing facilities, commercial retrofits, and critical infrastructure applications requiring reliable power management.
