DESCRIPTION

The FLUKE-561 is a multipurpose infrared and contact thermometer designed for industrial, electrical, and HVAC/R professionals requiring both IR and contact temperature measurement capabilities in a single tool. It features a temperature range of -40 °C to 550 °C (-40 °F to 1022 °F), a 12:1 distance-to-spot-size ratio with single-point laser sighting, and adjustable emissivity settings (0.3, 0.7, 0.95) for accurate measurement of various surface types. The device offers display accuracy of ±1.0% of reading or ±1 °C (±2 °F) whichever is greater, a response time of 500 milliseconds, and is compatible with industry-standard K-type mini-connector thermocouples as well as an included Velcro pipe probe. With a lightweight design of 340 grams (12 ounces), backlit LCD display with MIN/MAX/DIF functions, and 12-hour battery life on alkaline AA batteries, the FLUKE-561 enables efficient temperature monitoring of motors, insulation, breakers, pipes, and hard-to-reach objects without requiring equipment shutdown or ladder access.
