DESCRIPTION

The 5018513, a Fluke Networks MicroScannerâ„¢ PoE Cable Verifier, is designed for the swift troubleshooting of network cables. It locates faults on 2 or 4 pair cables running protocols like EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, and MODBUS in just four seconds, graphically displaying opens, shorts, and cross wires. The verifier supports PoE testing from Class 1 to 8 and identifies the distance to an open connection in either meters or feet. With its large backlit LCD screen, this tool is ideal for technicians working in IT, security, PoE lighting, and IP-based building automation systems to quickly diagnose cable issues and minimize downtime.
