DESCRIPTION

The 10-8102 is a silicone dielectric compound supplied in a 1 gallon can, designed to provide electrical insulation and protection in high-voltage applications. It is a soft, inert silicone grease with excellent dielectric properties and vaseline-like consistency that remains clear and translucent. The compound operates effectively over a wide temperature range, providing an excellent dielectric coating that excludes moisture and prevents high-voltage arcing. It is commonly applied to high-voltage components in TV receivers, automotive and marine ignition systems, and exposed metal surfaces such as antenna terminals for corrosion resistance and rustproofing. Additionally, it serves as an effective lubricant for rubber and plastic components.
