DESCRIPTION

The 12-8011 is a wrist strap only component designed as a replacement part for the 12-8010 Adjustable Economy Wrist Strap Kit. This wrist strap is part of GC Electronics' ESD/static protection product line and is intended for use in electrostatic discharge control applications. The strap works in conjunction with the 6" coil cord and 4 mm snap stud connector system found in the 12-8010 kit. It is commonly used in electronics assembly, soldering, and service environments where personnel grounding is required to prevent damage to sensitive components from static electricity.
