DESCRIPTION
The HXNC241CAX is a 200 Amp 1500 Vdc normally closed contactor designed for capacitor discharge and dump switch applications requiring reliable normally closed contacts. It features high efficiency dual DC coils with internal Dolite coil suppression, available in 12, 24, or 48 Vdc options, delivering very low continuous power consumption (2.0–2.8 W) ideal for battery-powered systems with no EMI emissions or cross-talk. The contactor offers a mechanical life of 1,000,000 cycles, contact resistance of 0.15–0.3 mO typical, and operates reliably across an ambient temperature range of -55°C to +85°C. Its compact design is not position-sensitive, allowing installation in any orientation, and it meets CE conformance standards. This contactor is well-suited for high-reliability switching applications in renewable energy systems, energy storage, and industrial power distribution where low coil power consumption and robust performance are essential.
