DESCRIPTION
The 30-001-A-01 is a Series 30 butt contact pushbutton switch featuring SPST (single-pole, single-throw) normally open circuitry with momentary action. It is designed for snap-in front panel mounting with a sleek black matte bezel and offers a choice of six button colors. The switch has a button height of 0.205 inches (5.21 mm), a behind-panel length of 1.119 inches (28.42 mm), and a total travel of 0.062 ± 0.010 inches (1.57 ± 0.25 mm) with an actuating force of 10 ± 4 ounces. It is rated for 1 A at 115 Vac resistive or 0.5 A at 220 Vac resistive, with a contact resistance of less than 25 milliohms on a new switch and an insulation resistance of 1,000 megohms minimum. The switch is constructed with a nylon bezel, ABS plastic button cap, brass tin-zinc bushing, thermoset plastic base, and bronze contacts with fine silver contact area, providing reliable performance for 1,000,000 operations. This switch is ideal for control panels, instrumentation, and industrial applications requiring durable, momentary-action switching.
